came home from work and checked email etc. turned on OLN to watch the tour de france and then i had a dream that i was biking in the tour de france, going up all of these really tough climbs. well? that will happen when you fall asleep w/the tv on eh? i must tell you that in my dream i was in really great shape though! darn, i eventually woke up.
why does the stupid schedule seem so much tougher to follow this year? crap! today was supposed to be 4. tomorrow is 7. tomorrow i am going over to gf's right after work to help her with some stuff. i'm bringing the running gear.
on the food front, i made great progress last week but this week i got real hungry (from my saturday run maybe?) and had north of 2,500+ calories one day. well that sucks. i am stupid on some days.
my biggest downfalls are when i forget to bring my lunch. inevitably those are the days when the whole office goes out to lunch. yesterday at lunch i ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with no bacon, no cheese. and then proceeded to eat the fries it came with. perfect, perfect, way to go. whatever, life goes on.
my mission is to lose at least 10 pounds between now and the marathon. doable, maybe not even aggressive enough. i lost 10 last year and have kept it off though.
tonight at the grocery store i bought turkey, whole wheat light bread, and romaine lettuce so i can bring in a sandwich. i bought some yogurt, and a few frozen meals. i hate counting calories. i hate that i know how many calories are in every single food known to man.

Heh, I've been fighting a losing battle this year and not losing. Well I did way back earlier and it all came back to haunt me so now I'm trying again and so far so good. Our office all goes out for lunch often and that is hard. Its not always the food sometimes its that everyone is having a beer as well.
