3.3 miles tonight, around 10:15 pace. it felt a lot slower than that though, the heat is killing me. i'm still trying to psych myself up for saturday's run. holy smokes its going to be a hot one. i did my carbo loading tonight, tomorrow will be all about water, gatorade, and healthy eating.

jeanne recently suggested i listen to steverunner's podcast #52...so i did! it was a fun diversion on my run tonight. i know susie has been talking up steverunner too but i just never followed through. i think i'll try to get a few more episodes downloaded before saturday's run.

have a good weekend everyone. we don't have any major plans because the prior 2 weekends were pretty packed. maybe we will watch a movie and hit the mall for a bit? i wouldn't mind going to the new guthrie but i think we will save that for a different weekend.

a realtor is also going to show me/us a new listing that i would like to check out. its a little small but it has been almost completely updated and you guessed it, i could run to the lakes from here. we'll see, its located on a busier road than i would prefer.

  • seriously - heaps cute house. i love how americans have those funky layout things happening - australians always have big massive open layout things. i like it already!

  • I giggled at the "me-slash-us" bit ... that's exciting. You took me back to when my husband and I decided to buy a house together ... it's fun to look at all of the options. That looks like a pretty cool house.

  • Good luck with the heat tomorrow - your weather forecast is crazy so be careful out there!

  • Dude the house is perfect! It's plenty big enough: bigger house simply = more to clean. Seriously, all anyone does is walk from sofa to desk to bed to refrigerator, it doesn't have to be huge. Plus with that giant bonus room you can have an office AND a workout space. And it's a nice setback, even if it's a busy street. Buy it buy it buy it!

  • That house is seriously adorable. Ok, wait...adorable in a completely manly sort of way, of COURSE. Me/us, huh? Very exciting stuff. I agree with the other posters than it is plenty big. Better to start small, in my opinion.
