Poignant Irrelevance

my knee still hurts, so nothing new to report there. i have been taking 1-2 motrin a day for about 1 week. i might get around to making a dr. appointment this week. one of the guys at work has had bad knees for years; he might recommend a specialist so that would be cool. otherwise i guess i'll have to figure something out.

last night i helped my bro move in to his new house. one huge truck and one smaller truck. it was a lot of stuff! i think it took around 5-6 hours for 4-6 people. the worst thing was the piano, which was the very last item. wow. we had to stop 4 times, we did it though. yeah!! did i mention it was in the 40's and raining? and the driveway was mud because its a new house? we walked on wooden plank-type things. good times. i'd do it again in a heart beat for any one of my family members. i'd do it all over again today if any one of them was moving. i got home a little after midnight and slept for a solid 9 hours.

i lifted again on thursday night this past week, with an average HR of about 100 for 20 minutes. i will lift again on sunday night. i feel gimpy with my bum knee and my sore hip flexor.

gf is attending an out of town wedding this weekend, while i pitch in here with moving my bro and then sunday is mothers day.

the perfect house i checked out last weekend is still for sale. i sort of thought someone would have snapped it up by now. too bad its just a little over my price range. two incomes together would be able to afford it though!!

  • What the heck's up with your knee? Is it swollen? Have you been icing it at all? Maybe you need more than 1 Motrin a day.

Without knowing more, I'd say it's tendonitis. Reduce any swelling you should be alright.

Also check your legs for any knots. I'm finding that these knots and pull things in all directions and lead to sore knees, shins, etc.
