I'M A MARATHONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**disclaimer, you might not want to read this if you have your first marathon coming up.

I did it!! i finished!!! i am a marathoner!!! yay woohoo!!!!!!!!
i kinda crashed on the last big chunk of miles but i was able to finish within my conservative goal of 5 hours...i think i did it in 4:55 or so.

it was so hard! but i knew it would be (stupid hills!). i gave everything i possibly had to give out there today and that feels so great. i had to walk a lot.

well right now i'm sore and not really with it mentally (my sister says i'm talking kind of slow). but hey i just fricken spent every last ounce that my body had to give. this might have been the hardest thing i've ever done.

WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! i made it!!! i am a marathoner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now i'm going to try to recover somehow.

i'll write some more stuff later but i thought i'd give you the scoop.

YEAH I'M SO HAPPY! woohoo!!!!!!!!!!

(ps i knew that was you marisa...i felt bad i didn't say "hey marisa!" but thanks for cheeering, that was so awesome!)

    You were awesome out there! I was so proud to be cheering you on! I'm so glad each of our pre-determined spots worked out and we were able to see you every time! You rule. You're my hero. Seriously. :-) I kept thinking about the "olden" days...the B of "back in the day"...and how much you've accomplished. You decided one day that it would be cool to run races; you signed up; you ran; you signed up for the big *m*; you trained your butt off; you ran; you ACHIEVED YOUR GOAL!!!!!!!! You have so much to be proud of!! Can't wait to get the details from your point of view. (Once your speech returns to normal speed and sound!) Hee hee.

    It was definitely a great run to witness. We'll be talking about this one for months!
