i received some good news today. i'll share later.

follow-up to the car situation: i decided to extend my lease for a couple of months. this way i can order the exact car i want from the factory and also get the repairs finished on my leased car in plenty of time. i think it'll work out fine this way. with that in mind, i'm driving my car around like it's on its last 2 months of life. fun times.

Good news is always fun to share! And I think the car decision is probably the wisest route. No reason to rent a car or be unhappy with the new leased vehicle.

Hey Brent! Thanks for asking your question about racing during marathon training. I didn’t know what to do about the New Haven 20K race this September. According to Hal I am supposed to run 18 miles that weekend, so if I run the 20K I will be short 6 miles. I have decided I am still going to run the race, but I will probably do a few extra miles throughout the week. ~ If you’re free that weekend, you should join us in Connecticut for the race. http://www.newhavenroadrace.org/ I know Dianna and Michelle will be there along with Bill, and maybe Chris Brogan. Jon (from Michigan) said he was thinking about it too. Which reminds me....did you check out his recent post? He is also following Hal’s novice marathon training schedule. How cool is that? The three of us are just a few weeks behind each other. :)
