sweatshirts in the summer
i ran my 3 miles earlier today and it was hot out. dang it was hot. they said it felt like 100 degrees if you included the humidity? whew. i was wearing a t-shirt plus a sweatshirt which felt like it weighed 10 lbs. i think i was running about 11 minute miles. bleah! i ran in the grass quite a bit.
i am considering the treadmill for tomorrow's run to keep the shins from freaking out too much before saturday's run. i do believe that icing them before running was a good idea, and is helping the matter a little bit.
eating was ok today. i had a turkey sandwich for lunch and then 2 turker burgers later on for dinner. it was a turkey tuesday! ha ha. i still have overwhelming cravings for junky food all day and all night so the battle is still brewing within.
this evening i had a good chest workout. lifting weights makes me feel really good, must do more of it.

why'd you wear a sweatshirt in such heat? trying to sweat out more toxins?

Skip the sweatshirt. Wear just sleeves that can easily be removed and pinned to side. Lighter and quick to remove when hot.

Sweatshirt? Are you high, man? Lose that nonsense, especially in this humidity. I ran this this morning at 6 am and it was already 3,948% humidity. Running on a treadmill in a air conditioned gym sounds really good.
