Temptation Beckoned

the temptation of another trail run was too much to overcome. i cut about 2:10 off of my first mile compared to last time. hehe. thats mostly because i knew i was only doing a 3-miler. my HR was way above any fat burning zone though. average HR during the last two miles was 168-169, and peaked at 175. its fun to really push it hard during a run once in a while. i had a fly that was bugging me (ha, get it?)...it must have had a very nutritious breakfast because it was keeping up with my 6 mph pace for a long time. stupid fly. ok, no more trail runs for a while. oh, btw i tried a couple of sly's biceps exercises; three days later and my biceps are still sore. on tap tonight: incline chest stuff.

  • Trail runs rock - especially with wildlife. Sure, a fly isn't cuddly or cute like a deer or bunny, or inspiring like an eagle, or putting the fear of God into you like a bear or cougar, but it's still wildlife.

    Isn't it?
