i'm currently waiting in the lobby of my car dealership as they tend to my acura for its first maintenance appointment (right around 5,400 miles since august).

its so bloody cold here. i'm dedicated and passionate about running, but only to a certain degree. i will only rarely run outside when it is below zero. i can deal with mid to high teens but when its colder than that, bleah.

i was mentioning this to my sister earlier today: it seems like no big deal to go outside for a 90-minute run, but spending 90-minutes doing cardio in the gym is like a mind bender. and even when i manage to do it, i don't get that same "runner's high" like i do when i'm pounding pavement for an hour and a half.

oh well! i can't tell you how awesome it will be to go outside for a run when its 30 degrees. its going to be awesome i tell you. awesome!
