the 1-mile race! fun times.
check out the amount of money i'll win if i can break 4:00!! i better psych myself up. i can do it!!! i believe a 4 minute mile = 15 m.p.h.
apparently the first place payout (minus the bonus) is the 2nd highest payout in the country for a 1-mile event.
i ran about 9.5 miles tonight. i deliberately did not schedule a lifting session, in order to get in some miles. just needed it. i had some mild heartburn going on but otherwise it was a beautiful night for a run. very crowded around the lakes but lots of runners.
