feedback
the trainers peek into your food journal in order to provide feedback etc. frankly, i wasn't actually certain as to whether or not they would indeed check on it.
i just received the following email this afternoon:
Hey 'Brent'!
Man, how many Clif Bars do you eat per day? :) Here’s some suggestions:
- Buy the steam-in-the-bag vegetables for convenience (still looks like you are snacking out of vending machine some days i.e. Teddy Grahams, Pretzel crisps)
- Drop the diet soda, think H2O buddy!
- Eat more fruit, a banana occasionally isn’t enough
- Clif Bars are okay, but mix it up a bit
Hope some of these ideas can be implemented! Overall, you are doing very well and it is very encouraging to see you being proactive with your diet. That will be the foundation for your success!
We’ll see you tonight!
funny. it turns out that within the last week i have eaten a total of TWENTY nutrition bars, mostly clif bars. i don't think the trainer actually noticed the exact amount (i hope not anyway). 20 nutrition bars equates to about 45% of my total caloric intake over the past week.
hmmmm, i guess i didn't really notice?
well i gotta go eat something and then get ready to go for a session. man clif bar sure would be convenient right now!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! That is a lot of Clif Bars. I've really started watching what I eat before workouts and making sure I don't offset everything I burn with my pre-workout snack. It sounds like your PT experience has been great!!
I saw that MN had a ton of snow on the news this morning. CRAZY!

Wow. My teeth hurt just reading that. :)
Those bars are so sweet!
Half an english muffin w/PB is pretty darn quick and not nearly as much sugar.
