we last left off with me explaning that i had managed 5 days in a row on the treadmill.

during the following week (last week), i ran........

...once, for a total of 3 miles.

i actually got a little burned out on running. could it be the treadmill blues? maybe. probably not though, i could have laced 'em up and headed outside.

no big grand explanation, i simply got a little burned out on running.

BUT, i have lifted weights about 8 or 9 times over the past week and half, and climbed stairs 5 or 6 times. this morning i was on the sweatmaster at 5:30am. sweet! nothing beats a good sweat sometimes.

last saturday was the first saturday in several months that i hadn't completed a long/medium run of least 6 miles. later that afternoon i realized i had been antsy and jumpy all day. funny how your body adapts to a certain schedule. saturday long runs are the best.

on tap tonight: biceps. maybe more stair climbing.

on tap next week: 4 days of travel. my hotel has a work out facility so that is awesome!
