i am exhausted from my vaca. i didn't get a whole lot of sleep. it was fun though.
i didn't take very many pictures...here are two for now:
i ended up with 91 miles for december, which included 28 miles in the last week.
-runs were roughly: 10, 6, 3, 5, 5 (i ran 10 miles in MI).
since christmas i have logged 28 miles, at an average pace of 8:57. sweet! who says you can't teach an overweight runner to run faster? that includes some faster paced running when my ipod starts to count down from 400 meters. it is difficult to not want to kick it up just a little bit for that last segment.
currently i feel very lethargic and sluggish from eating crappy for several days. i'm going to go to bed early and get up in the morning for a short run before work.
i am looking forward to 2007! i think a lot of people like to rip on others who set "resolutions" for the new year. personally, i tend to think the "rippers" (those who rip) are probably too scared to set out goals for themselves. i know, i've been there. the prospect of failure can be a scary thing.
i'd rather set 8 goals and fail at 4, than be too afraid to set any goals at all. i think we are all looking forward to 2007, so lets get the ball rolling and hit it hard this year!!

Bravo for your resolutions! I am with you about setting 8 and failing at 4 than no goals at all.
Is that a real dog or some sort of stuffed animal?

Agree completely with that last 400 meter thing - you using the woman's voice? Makes me crazy!
