dome run
you can run around the inside of the metrodome on tuesday and thursday nights.
i was really craving a run (but dreading the 'mill) so i went for a dome run. it was my first time. i ended up running 6.0 miles at 8:27 pace (50:56), which works out to be 1 second faster than my 10k PR race pace from last April. sweet!
my left hip flexor bothered me a bit afterwards but it seems better now.
there were around 3 or 4 dozen people the peak during the time i was there. it was kind of a drag with the lack of natural light, but on the other hand, it was a new experience and a good way to try out some interval stuff.
catch you later. have a good weekend of running everybody. my arms are still sore from a wednesday night lifting session. i think i will do shoulders tonight, chest again tomorrow, and not sure on sunday yet.
