back on the train

i squeezed in a 25 minute run (neighborhood route, 1 lap) after work today. part of my strategy this winter is to squeeze in little workouts whenever a i possibly can. i should be running 6 days a week. last winter, i felt like if i couldn't get in a 5 to 6 mile run, it wasn't worth it.

forget that. if i squeeze in 25-30 minute runs when i normally wouldn't do anything, i should be able to add 5 or 10 extra miles a week eh? we'll see.

i lost 5.1 pounds over the past week. man i was so hungry doing it though. i could have just eaten a little more and lost 2 or 3 pounds instead! i was so freakin' hungry tonight. i waited until after my weigh-in to eat dinner. i also ran before the weigh-in so the true loss was probably more like 4?

back in the first week of august i lost 8 pounds in 1 week; if i lose 2 pounds this week i will be back down to that same weight. i have been losing and gaining the same 5 or 6 pounds. i'm back on the train though, i'm ready to make a dent. its not going to be easy, but i know that.
