walkin' the line

everybody should go see walk the line simply to admire the performances of joaquin phoenix and r. witherspoon. i thought joaquin as cash was ridiculously good. foxx as ray charles may never be topped for this type of movie but phoenix probably gets as close as anybody ever will. chemistry between 'spoon and phoenix was outstanding too.

today i bought 'the legend of 7ohnny cash' album. i proceeded to listen to it a few times. then i used itunes to d-load the soundtrack of walk the line. again, i can't believe how good phoenix pulled it off.

good movie. go check it out on the big screen if you haven't already.

whenever i watch these movies i always question whether or not i'm doing everything possible with the talent i've been given. i think everybody has immense talent in certain areas of their life. don't waste it.

  • i agree - that movie was awesome. joaquin actually checked himself into rehab after filming it and seeing similar characteristics between himself & Cash. apparently, joaquin's been sober since last May.
