bloglines replacement
first let me get this out of the way: espn's sunday night football has the worst commentary, the worst analysis, the worst sidelines reporter, the whole broadcast makes me want to punch my tv. everyone is an idiot. on so many levels. ok!
---------------
i don't have much to add about my running at this point. i get all bummed out thinking about not being able to train outside on weekdays for the next 5 months or so. it makes me a little depressed so then in order to rebel, i don't even use the treadmill. i hate the treadmill right now. last night i went very late at night for a "long" run on the 'mill and i quit after 2 miles. i suck. it was my first treadmill run at my local club since.....april? turns out they have new carpet, a bunch more fancy new tv's in the weight room, and other stuff. i did some lat exercises though and now i'm sore today so thats good i guess.
on a more positive note, danny at trainingformyfirstmarathon.blogspot.com ran nyc today. cool! way to go man! (i can't get the link to work right now to his site)
i'm trying out google's reader (its like bloglines--you subscribe to feeds)....so far it is way better than bloglines. bloglines is so slow, sometimes its a whole day behind. sometimes you miss posts altogether.
danny's NYC post came through right away. bloglines still has nothing. i bet bloglines will finally update danny's post sometime tomorrow. lame!
here's what the screen shots look like (below). if you get frustrated with bloglines, go try out google's new thing. www.google.com/reader

hella cool! I'm definitely gonna check out google's version of bloglines. I agree...bloglines is too s-l-o-w. How do you find all these different google products?? Is there a page that lists all the different good sites (i.e., maps, bloglines, etc.)?
