...poo...

did you check out this week's Rundown?? huh huh?? thanks for the mention dianna! :)

last night it was a few miles on the treadmill, tonight i ran outside. i took to the grassy boulevard instead of the sidewalk, and dodged poo.

and now the fun....this is the last time i will mention the magic word because i'm sick of it. today the magic word is: SHIN! i will take the rest of this week off because the pain is really bad and not normal. elliptical here i come. this is very frustrating. very frustrating but its just the way it has to be right now.

what a way to start. heh. no more mentioning of the magic word for me though, forget it. i'm sick of talking about it. so no more. now i'm going to go get some Icy Hot stuff or something similar. which was recommended by Krista. for my shin. by the hair of my shiny shin shin son of a stupid shin you piece of stupid shin shin shin shin shin SHIN!

I had ~900 calories today because i got distracted and forgot to snack. why can't this happen every day? i'm pretty hungry though. think i'll go pick up a protein bar. mmm.

  • I didn't eat *too* much yesterday, and woke up an hour after I fell asleep last night and just had to eat a string cheese because I actually felt faint from hunger. While *sleeping*. Just weird.

Sorry about your that-which-will-not-be-mentioned. Cross train?

  • it rocked that dianna mentioned your 10k. i still think about how excited you were (are!) on occasion. that race was such a huge deal and you really shared your enthusiasm with us.

  • Put packs of frozen veggies on your shins (cover with kitchen towel or something) after exercising and it should really help keep the swelling and discomfort down. You are such a total running stud! :-)

  • My naturalist herbalist new-age friend recommends Tiger Balm rather than Icy H0t.

Is your unmentionable caused from pavement? I find walking on hard surfaces to be very uncomfortable. You need to run in a pool of jello. Nekkid.

Oh sorry, different train of thought there.
