Rip it!

that last post was uplifting no?

i got everything set for my circuit routine tonight. the carpet looked inviting though, i crashed for a couple minutes. got a phone call. i stammer "hello?" and checked in the mirror, yup--mild case of carpet-face going on. not for long though.

1 circuit: 2 sets of everything, 10-12 reps, 30 seconds rest in between each set
--db(dumbbell) lunges, incline db bench, pulldowns, db military press, upright rows, tricep pushdowns, biceps using weights on ez bar, incline flyes.
rest for minute thirty seconds...
repeat circuit with 1 set of everything, slightly longer rest periods, sometimes lower weight.

Rip it baby! love weight lifting. its aggressive, high intensity, RIP IT! awesome. lifting is not like running and that is why i like it. i like running too though. i finish a set and i'm all fired up pacing around my living room during the 30 seconds feeling all puffed up and RIP IT this is AWESOME i mumble to no one in particular. then i finish another set and another and so on. good times. this circuit idea is a great filler in between the one-body-part-per-day-like-you-have-done-since-college schtuff. and now, the tricky part...unwinding for some high quality zzzz zzz.

i swear to all that is holy and true the first woman that can sing to me like kelly clarkson i will fall madly in love with. oh dear Lord please let no one that knows me in real life read that sentence . good thing i don't know any of you people (except that one real life person, you know who you are heh). everything below that dashed line will be erased as soon as i come to my senses.

  • I love weight-lifting too. Even when it exhausts me I feel exhilarated. Probably combining running and weights is the best exercise in the world.
