a mid-afternoon quickie
hey. mind out of the gutter.
I ran a quick 2 miles at 9:05 pace (quick for me anyway). what fun is running if you can't throw in a few faster miles here and there. next i want to run 3 miles at 9:05 pace. maybe next week. i'm positive my HR was above the fat burning zone but thats ok i just wanted to push myself a little for at least 2 miles.
and to the guy who was wiping down my treadmill WHILE I WAS RUNNING ON IT....ARE YOU A MORON? maybe i should spray lysol up your nose and throw you on the treadmill for a run? everyone has a job to do but why don't you start with the treadmills that nobody is using. i wanted to "accidentally" hayah the guy's nose. dude was all up in my grill. don't mess with me while i'm running, i'm on a mission to save the world.
everyone has certain events or external conflicts in their life that act as a catalyst to flip the switch to on. something clicks. my light is on right now. stand down you mo fo because i will not give in until you are on the ground. do not be surprised if i kick you will you are down there, the switch is on do not get in my way.

Wow! Great run. That's super fast. And people who wipe down the machines while you're running are my number one pet peeve at the gym. I hear you. I think a plain cloth might be just as effective - spare the air, buddy! - Mia

Wow...nice work! Although I haven't been making consistent face time at the gym lately, it seems I also always run into the 'Lysol men'. Here I thought they just wanted to get a closer look! Darn...now I know they are just simply doing their job...bummer! :-) I think I'll continue to think they are just getting a closer look at the babe running on the machine...it makes me run faster! ;-)
I like the profound quote...made me kind of cringe...I think (as you are painfully aware of) that I have been NOT living my life because a fear of what might happen...did you post that just for me?!?!?
Anyway -- keep up the good work. One step at a time, one day at a time, one run at a time, one minute at a time. You have a whole crew of people behind you and supporting you!
