I've always wondered how people created titles. apparently its just an option in the settings. oops.
i set the alarm to do a long run early this morning before my weigh-in. of course that would have been cheating so deep down i really didn't care if i got up to do the run beforehand. i'd rather not cheat ya know. so this morning while i was snoozing instead of completing the long run, i had a dream that i was at fancy gourmet buffet (is there such a thing?). i had the 2 biggest waffles...with strawberries, whip cream, and they were the best waffles i've ever eaten while dreaming. ha ha.
i lost 3 lbs this week. i also found out that i wasn't eating as much as i was supposed to be eating. no wonder i was coming up with 1100-1200 calories per day each time i was calculating my calories. i guess i was skipping some fruit and vegetable servings. the look on my counselors face though upon realizing i had lost 9.5 pounds in a week in a half, it was totally worth it. she was like, what the??? are you sure you are eating everything??
i am still not down to the weight i was last summer though, that is when i will really consider a loss to be progress.
i have decided to mix in my protein shake for breakfast 3-4 days a week. counselor was quite alarmed at this suggestion because she thinks a "protein shake" is 1500 calories. no worries ma'am its 240 calories at 38g protein so i think its ok to substitute.
have a good weekend everybody. i will do my long run either late tonight or on sunday. now i gotta do some hardcore studying for an exam required at work. the fun never ends!

I love dreaming about food. Waffles with strawberries AND whip cream...it sounds wonderful. ~ Congrats. on the weight loss!
