Poignant Irrelevance

"brent, whats going on? you are sure making your way around today", so says one of my neighbors at the office today. i was exploring different routes to the bathroom. i went the usual way, the opposite way, the direct way, the casual i am actually doing something else way, the through the double-security door way, the way far off you'll never think i'm going to the bathroom again way, the i'm going down to a different floor because you'll never guess what i'm doing down there way repeat repeat repeat. stupid water.

the weirdest thing is happening. everything i eat tastes so full of flavor, so good. its not just the frozen meals with real chicken anymore, its the apples, the oranges, the salads, etc. well not the fake turkey burger but lets not talk about that. i think the way i was eating before was messing me up somehow. i only have so much to eat per day now (even though 1,500 calories is normal i keep thinking its not a whole lot), therefore i really end up appreciating everything i eat and it just all tastes so fricken good.

i plan on lifting later on but not the circuit. i will be concentrating on different exercises that i normally don't do on the circuit. hit the muscles from different angles. i am really feeling those lunges today (that i did 2 days ago). i felt as though i was walking like a duck sometimes but hopefully that was all in my head.

  • I feel that way sometimes. If I eve eat something "BAD" it is always in secret and I always scoff it down and after I think, " I inhaled that. I didn't taste it". So now that I plan my day, a bit like you, I really appreciate what I am eating.
