i thought i would pop back in to show you what happened during my 2nd run during the month of november. it was a beautiful day outside! oh well. it happened after 10 minutes; i finished my 5.5 mile run however. smart? probably not. i limped for a minute or two before i felt like i could keep going on it. hopefully the swelling will go down very soon. i plan to run on it before it is healed because i am stubborn.

hi! i run with sprained ankles all the time. they seem to take a while to heal whether or not i rest or not...so why not run, eh? just do take care you don't retwist it while it's still healing...that is the risk we take!! (but again, i twisted it this last time falling off the sidewalk on my way to class-ie. not running-so really, sometimes there is not much you can do to prevent these things)

Was there something specific that you did to cause the injury? That sucks man... The thought of you not being able to run in the weather TODAY (71+ degrees out!) just makes me sad!!!!
