i'm trying to watch some snowboarding but they are showing ice skating in between the snowboarding. what is up with that? i can't watch that crap.
i'm off to chi town tomorrow for the weekend. meeting most of her fam. whew, deep breaths. she is not nervous at all...rather, she is quite excited. shouldn't she be a little nervous too? i hope we have a good time. i'm basically packed.

i dated a guy once who honestly DID NOT want to meet my parents/family. I was so hurt by that. my family is a major part of my life so by not wanting to meet THEM, it was as if he didn't want to meet a part of ME.
so, yeah, it's normal to be nervous, but that's great that you're actually getting to meet them...it really shows that you're interested in her ENTIRE life (not just the surfacy stuff). relax, have fun & be yourself! :)
