circuit
i got weaker while training because i quit lifting. i kind of knew it was happening but i chose not to focus on it. tonight i did the curcuit routine; 28 sets with 30 second rest periods. the body parts that lost the most strength: shoulders and triceps.
tomorrow i will be sore. i miss being sore though! my arms feel like jello right now. hopefully i will be able to build back up to where i was before the training began. the winter goal is to shed body fat AND build back up the strength gains. i am anxious to try new winter cross-training activities too.
i didn't run tonight but i almost did.
clarification on the shin splints comment from the below post: i had the splints during weeks 5-6 (or somewhere around there, i'm too lazy to back and double check).

I'm planning on weights and walking for the next little while. Now that it's not 98+ degrees out everyday.
