Results #10, weeky recap
Unofficially I'm down a little from last week. I'd say the eating was ok, no disasters but plenty of room for improvement. I ate protein shakes for breakfast, lean cuisine's for lunch and dinners, i never ate fast food, but i had a lot of high calorie "protein" bars (does 7g of protein make it a protein bar?)

i'm a little embarrassed by that last post, i've been thinking about deleting it. i'm really not that dramatic. i'm a little too introspective for my own good at times. thanks for believing though!
tonight i did my 6 mile run. turned out to be 6.2 actually. college hockey was on, college hockey rules. home team scored in the 3rd period, about 3+ miles into the run. i instinctively thrust my arms high into the air (like you do when zooming down a steep drop in a rollercoaster) followed by a quick fist pump. meanwhile my feet kept plodding along on the mill without interruption.
the hot girls are starting to show up in droves later at night...word must be spreading that i'm doing my runs at night. but in a twist, i picked a treadmill IN FRONT of all the fetching ladies so as not to be distracted. i'd rather not worry about trying to think about baseball for half the run. hehe!
pace was ~10:45, my HR never hit 170 so i was pleased about that.
..
weekly Recap (monday to sunday)
Goal: 15 miles--3,3,3,6.
Actual: 16 miles. YEAAYUUUHHH. I actually accomplished all of my running goals this week! virtual high-fives all around. woohoo! go me.
Goal for this week: 16 miles--3,3,3,7
here's to another successful week on the horizon for everybody! let's do this.

Your running week was great! It's all worth it when you accomplish what you set out to do. With weeks like this, by the time that 10k rolls around, it will bore you to death!
