like old times

i was really sore today from lifting sunday and monday. REALLY sore. i spent all day walking around the office stretching and feeling my biceps when i thought no one was looking.. "ouch!" i'd shout.

i was going to write about how the hot girl picked the treadmill in front of me despite a sparsley populated gym at best, but i decided not to. i was also going to mention how girls started to give me dirty looks, as though i had the whole gym to choose from and how could i choose the mill right behind that one girl. honestly i was here first, really!

3 miles, 29:30. warmed up for 0.4 mile at nearly 11:00 pace so i tried to pour it on after that to post a decent time. it was like old times tonight. i burned out the run, and as soon as i stepped off the treadmill i felt nothing. nothing! twas as though i hadn't even worked out. i love that feeling. it reminds me of college...like old times my friends, like old times.

  • Nothing like great scenery to inspire a good run ;-)

  • That's funny stuff about the hot girl ... one should market "I got here first ... really" signs for the machines. :)

  • Chris, Chris, Chris. *sigh*

Brent - look, anything that keeps you on the treadmill, can't be all bad.
