bricks

tonight i bench pressed the most i've ever pressed with dumbbells, and i did 5-7 rep sets. i attribute this solely to the fact that i started adding in tricep stuff a couple weeks ago (skull crushers and close grip bench). my triceps have always lagged my chest, maybe thats normal though i'm not sure. i went heavy on both the press and flyes. then i ran about 3 miles. i forgot what its like to do a chest workout and then hop on the treadmill. i could feel every chest muscle with each stride; they felt like bricks.

I'm so angry lately. about non-fitness related crapola. i'm using this anger to channel my energy during runs. i should find other constructive outlets too but for now i will continue to strap on the shoes, set the mp3 player to eminem, and run like a mo fo.

  • come on......we want to hear the low down dirty on the crapola.....and I am so glad that someone else over 15 who doesn't wear their pants down under their arse letting their undies hang out, likes Eminem - but please don't tell my students....i pretend he sux! it would do no good to be cool

  • haven't tried eminem, but i find that rage against the machine...the self titled album...is AMAZING for burning off emotional fuel while running. if you can handle some of the language, that is.

  • its all good, some things are sort of frustrating though ya know? it might have something to do with the office...maybe not but...maybe :-)
