I just got these for my upcoming international flight. they should work like a champ. i just sat 1 foot away from my tv with the volume on 70 (while listening to music with the new headphones), i could faintly hear some voices. normally i listen to the tv on 18. take THAT airplane noise!

hey Metamorphosis, yeah these bose rock. they are larger than what i'd like but the ear part folds back and they came with a case thats not too bulky.
