2005: A Year Of Progress, A Year of New Accomplishments
I am starting a new years resolution early. While i've never been a fan of "new years resolutions" per se, i do agree that with the new year approaching its a fine idea to assess progress and set new goals. The first resolution, which will appear familiar to at least one of you (hi k!), is no more soda/pop/whatever. even though it has no calories that stuff just takes me down the wrong path, its almost like a trigger food. plus i drink a lot less water when i'm downing the diet soda all day long. Let the headaches begin tomorrow.
I will be thinking about the other goals over the next week or so, i have a few in mind already. one being an attempt at my first marathon in '05, or at least 1/2 marathon. so weekly mileage goals will be in order. the other food/nutrition goals are more complicated and mostly boring (as if the rest of this is exciting) so maybe i will keep those off-line.

Good for you! I am sure you will be able to tell a real difference in no time at all. I “gave up” soda on July 1st and it was really difficult at first. (I’m a huge fan of Diet Coke) But now that it’s been a few months, I hardly ever crave soda (although I still crave doughnuts all the time, and I have them up on July 1st too) :) Good Luck with your goals!

Ohhhh, hey there!
Just found your site through Bellysima, Airlie.
I gave up soda 6 months ago. Best bloody thing I could have done. My skin is 100% better for it..
Now, please excuse me, I have a bit of your journals to catch up on.
