powerless?
i had an epiphany of sorts last night. when you are eating more food than you truly want to eat, the food is controlling you (versus you controlling the food).
why not take control of the food? why let it control me? you have to realize when the cravings hit, that you have the ability to control the choices you make. its not like we are powerless against our craving for licorice. is it?
its probably not that easy, but then again, i don't want to over think it either. i control what i eat, not someone else. and the candy does not jump into my mouth, i control every single thing i eat.
i ate well today but did not have enough protein. i ran 7.67 miles, and i'd like to go to the gym later tonight for a short lifting routine.
i have been contemplating a may marathon. i'm not really in shape to jump right in to a 12-week plan (vs. 18-week) though.
