it could have been a lot worse. i'm glad we didn't hit up chinese, i could not have handled it. i ordered some sort of scrambled egg whites w/vegetables, and fruit on the side. not that bad of a choice eh? the eggs seemed a bit oily though.

i'm on the doorstep of signing up for grandma's marathon (june) for the first time. several events have transpired that have made the timing of the marathon seem potentially doable. we'll see.

closed-circuit to shawn: i'll call you tomorrow...we had an extremely intense weekend w/the inlaws which i will explain in person. one of the craziest weekends of my life.

  • I really struggle with in-law visits. My husband's family all eat ENORMOUS amounts of food (and they are all skinny). They snack constantly. And they do the classic thing where if I don't participate, they get huffy and offended.
