still on schedule
i ran 3.28 miles right after work tonight. so far i'm on schedule!
tonights run did not feel as good as last nights run. i finished in about 30:29, or a 9:19 ave pace versus yesterday's pacing of about 8:50. its only 3 miles though so no big deal but i'm kind of a numbers guy and those are the numbers. i drank zero ounces of water today so that is a big part of why i did not feel as great (i suspect).
i'm really hungry. i remember this feeling last summer. it really sucks being hungry when you are trying to cut weight eh? thats how you do it though-- you can't eat every time you are hungry, not when you have lb's to cut. or you have to stick to vegetables or lettuce or something fun like that.

So here's somethng kind of stupid, except it might help. When I'm in "diet mode"? I try to "reframe" that hungry feeling as The Skinny Feeling. Like as long as I'm feeling hungry, I must be losing weight. It helped me embrace the feeling, anyway. Of course, my neurosis has been well documented, so your mileage may vary! :)
