from friday on through monday i was a total sloth (kind of in a good way though, hee). i ran zero miles. i lifted....zero pounds. i ate....several pounds. woohoo! hehe. i took the opportunity to relax and enjoy my entire weekend. yes there were a few times when i wanted to break out and run down the road but the timing wasn't right. hmmm i wonder how far a person could run in a pair of skech3rs?
nonetheless i had a fine weekend, i hope everybody else did too. this week is going to be nuts though w/only 4 days. i have so much to do at work, its going to be crazy. oh well.
i enjoyed reading everbody's recap of '05 and the '06 goals. good stuff! its fun to read about some good ideas and be inspired at the same time. i gotta go get some rest now or i'll be a complete mess tomorrow.

I love buying sneakers like those... never for running, but they are so much fun. makes me wish I could skateboard.

Running in Sk3chers - probably not a problem. Being a fan of running history (and a bit older than you are), I'll first confess to training for 3 years of HS X-C and track in Converse All-Stars. Next, I'll tell you that a fair number of people put a lot of mileage on Hush Puppies. In the end, what matters most is the engine, not the glitz.

If you're like that Coatman from last month's RW you could run forever in them!! Not me and my ratty feet though!
