The Standard Loop
hey did you know they have satellite images of the whole US? crazy. i was looking for a place i need to be tomorrow and it just amazes me that i can pull up a satellite image of my exact destination if i so choose.
so hopefully no creepy people will track me down by looking at this but then again, why would anyone want to track me down. it seems dumb to post this but i suppose i can delete it after a while? oh who cares i guess.
the red upside down pointer thing toward the center is my starting point. not sure if you can see the two sideways U's facing each other...those are two big apartment buildings. the two streets highlighted in gold are crazy busy all the time. the area has changed a little since this picture but its about right.
the green line is my standard loop. its about 3.5 miles long. cool eh?
you can see why i would be willing to drive 10-15 miles just to get to a real running path for longer runs.

couldn't you make your loop a bit longer by going down to the road at the bottom--the one opposite of the top "gold" road?
