more caffeine please

finally did my chest workout tonight. 3 sets of flat db press at high reps because i don't have dumbells that are heavy enough. i could have used the barbell w/heavier weights but i like that extra deep stretch you get with the dumbells. then i did 4 sets of heavy flyes. heavy for me anyway. now i am tight and shakey (or is it shaky?). i should do triceps too. nahhh.

i had lots of energy during the day today...i had plans to do legs tonight too. ever find yourself all pumped up at work with energy, making big plans for your nightly workout and then get home to find your energy has fizzled out? i find that.

today it may have been because i had 3 medium latte's and an energy drink? the let-down off this energy buzz will not be pretty! big day at work, so i powered up. i was freakin' bouncing off the walls. never had 3 latte's in one day. its PRETTY COOOL!!! I THINK I'M STILL FEELIN' IT A LITTLE! HUZZAH!!!

i will try a public fitday for a while. fyi i'm not 7'0 tall or 7,000 lbs or 500 lbs or 110 lbs (somewhere in the middle ha ha)-- those are just arbitrary stats. i will update it once, at night (tonights is accurate and done although you will have to find your way to the previous day by clicking on the arrow at the top or something). unless i say otherwise it will be 100% accurate. while i have received awesome tips that i still use even to this day from y'all, you get no input this time. you just read along and say to yourself, "how can someone eat this drivel and still be alive?" i'm amazed myself. watch and be amazed if you are interested. foods are not entered in any particular order. LATER DUDES!!!! WHAT AM GOING TO DO WITH ALL THIS ENERGY PEOPLE????????????? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • That happens to me virtually every weekday afternoon. The 4th graders suck every ounce of energy out of me. The key to getting out for a run in the afternoon is to NOT sit down. If I sit down for a minute after I get home from work, I will convince myself that my body “needs a day of rest”. But, if I quickly change into my running gear and get out the door, I can resist the sofa calling my name. :) ~ As for the coffee date--you are right. With both of us being prepared with “back up” questions we would never run out of anything to say and there would be no awkward pauses–if only we lived closer.
