3.0 miles in 28:18. i forgot my mp3 player. strange, without it i felt all naked. plus all the BEEPING from everybody adjusting their treadmills. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! and all the coughing and hacking. and all the feet stomping.
i think i felt some wiggling too.
wiggle, wiggle.
oh my gosh i'm at the club and i'm all naked!!!
i'd rather not be that in tune with myself while running. headphones required for all indoor running from now on.

You’re schedule intrigues me…first of all, there’s NO WAY I’m up at 5:45a unless there’s a flight I need to catch! secondly, I always admire those people who can workout at night (7pm is my ultimate max)…I’m usually in my PJs and curled up on the couch by 8pm…I ain’t going anywhere! My old roommate used to hit the gym anywhere between 11:30pm and 2:00am!!! Of course, he didn’t have to be up until 9a-10a.

What the... WHAT was wiggling? I totally didn't understand this strange post. You are obviously smoking crack.
Love the diet, it sounds like it has great potential!!

I chew a lot of gum, too, expecially if I'm concentrating on something. Smack, smack, smack is what I do. Do you ever get a tired jaw? Maybe that's me, but my jaw always gets weary and achy and then I have visions of giving myself some rare jaw disease from all my gratuitous gum chewing.
Heh. Running without music certainly is a different experience!

You're getting so fast!

LOL! I just had to laugh at Marla's post!! I wondered the same thing about the "wiggling"...but I just thought I'd let that one go. ;)

dood, looking at your meal structure, i've really got to challenge you to get some fresh veggies worked in there.
fresh. veggies.
fresh. veggies.
sounds like you do the frozen thing for their ease. why not take a step toward fresh by getting those ready made salad packages?
try this. get a bag of the spinach leaves and a bag of baby carrots. dump a little bit of the leaves and carrots in a bowl to go along with your evening meal. use a low fat dressing (honey mustard? basalmic?) over it. the bag of spinach and carrots will keep all week if you re-seal it when you're done. easy.

With all of that diet Dew, your internal organs should last forever (they'll be preserved with all of the chemicals) - LOL! Seriously, you're young and the body is a whole lot more forgiving, so do what works and what makes YOU feel good. (I'm big into the gum chewing, too...but I like cracking my gum, which is really the rudest thing in the world. Bad Denise!)

I've got to vote with Jeff on this one. In looking at your food, it was not until 8:30PM that you ate an unprocessed product. Up the fruits and veggies, have some nuts or cereal as a snack. Reduce the soda intake (there's a possibility that phosphoric acid leaches calcium from your bones - what's known is that it's excreted as calcium phosphate, what's not known is the process of how it's converted), reducing your soda intake may cut your possibility of developing osteoporosis or osteopenia.

I love that you put yourself out there and shared this. To me it's the diet of a man looking for simplicity. I can relate to the drinking of the Diet Dew at 8:30 a.m. ... at the height of my Diet Coke addiction, I was putting it in a coffee cup at work and blowing on it during meetings to avoid everyone lecturing me.
I can't NOT echo the fruit and veggie thing ... I know when I eat more veggies, I have loads more energy. Bananas, baby carrots in the bag even. You'll thank yourself.
