a peek at the past; mileage recap
Weekly Recap (monday to sunday)
Goal: 16 miles--3,3,3,7.
Actual: 13.2 miles. CRAP. i missed my 3 mile run on Thursday and i'm too tired today to make it up. i'll lift later though.
Goal for this week: 15 miles--3,4,3,5 (Hal week #3)
--------------------
this weekend i stumbled upon a running log i purchased in '01. the last half of the log consists of completely blank pages and the first half spans about 3 years-- i was very sparse in my record keeping. some of the entries were really funny. to me anyway. some of the "chicken scratching" as people like to call it, is cryptic and not worth explaining. i highlighted a few things though. it was interesting for me to look back at these.

September 2, 2001. Day 1 of the log book.
October 2002. (walked for 15 minutes at 3.6 mph!)

I only did a little over 15 miles and my plan called for 17, oh well, such is life sometimes. By the way I track my mileage and other activities on an excel spreadsheet that gives me weekly, monthy and ytd totals. It's easy and if you want it email me - I share.

maybe i'm reading that wrong, but does it say "bag of M&Ms 1200cals"?? i never knew M&Ms were that much!

close, it actually says "bag of oreos". i like how i follow that up with "gum balls", like they even made a difference after the whole bag of oreos. :)

I love looking back at old running logs. It’s great to see changes over time.
