stress eating

what i'm mostly trying to figure out right now is why do i eat/snack when i'm stressed out? i don't understand it. i've been doing it for years. i don't understand it!! really i don't. but it's one of the keys to my success of becoming more fit and healthy so i have to figure it out. like this afternoon i had two snick3ers marath0n bars (hey they have marathon on the wrapper, it must be good for me) for one good reason and that has nothing to do with being hungry. it's because i'm stressed out. ridiculous. RIDICULOUS! why can't i do pushups when i'm stressed out, or paint picasso's or fly a kite or

today my teeth hurt because i used some whitening strips last night before i went to bed. did you know you can have white teeth that actually have cavities deep down inside them? i will let you ponder that one.

  • I reckon it's because when we were little and we fell and hurt ourselves, our parents would say "there there, it's ok, have this lolly, it'll make you feel better" kinda thing. So, if that's true, we can blame our mums and dads for our fatness.

    And as far as our teeth are concerned...you're saying, you can't judge a book by it's cover aren't you? btw, how white are your teeth today? :)

  • I seem to crave those comfort foods when I'm stressed or tired out. We women can always blame PMS as well. Smile. Sounds good anyway.
