first log book entry of the new year....
...it was not a run however.
i climbed stairs on the sweatmaster for 30 minutes (mostly level 7, some level 6) and then decided to lift a little bit. i did 5 sets of chest before calling it quits.
my foot is still sore when walking around during the day, but it was time to test it in a workout. it seemed to be a little less sore by the end of the stair climbing but maybe my mind began blocking out the pain by that time. only time will tell; i will have to wait and see how it is tomorrow. i'm too scared to run on it at this point but if i can cross-train this week, i will maintain sanity (for now).
i keep thinking long term. why press for a 3 mile run in january, when it might be prudent to wait another week?
hopefully it'll keep feeling a little better each day.
