hey i ran tonight. thanks dudes. it wasn't the best run, but i was out there. too bad you had to listen to that crap the other day, it was a wussy post but thats just how it goes sometimes.
i have something for you to think about. imagine running your normal pace, but you are not allowed to push off while you are running. now lean your upper body forward. next, its important not to pick up your knees..."keep your knees low and your heels high". are you following? you are leaning forward with a limp lower body, you are running your normal pace but you are not pushing off with any of your strides. you are kicking up your heels behind you, without picking up your knees. are you with me at all?
now, while you are doing that, try running up a small hill. yup, run up that hill without pushing off and keeping the knees low.
man down! man down! we have a man down near lake nokomis!
witnesses claim this man looked like an injured duck while running up a hill. then, witnesses say, the dude sort of just stopped running mid-hill and kind of fell over. because his lower legs were limp and he remembered not to push off or pick up his knees.
stupid chi running.
