driving home at 5.30pm, i had only consumed about 500 calories for the day. work obligations prevented me from eating a healthy lunch. i had ample opportunity to make up for the calorie deficit during the day with free candy, free holiday cookies, free blah blah blah. i settled for about 1.5 cups of free popcorn and that was it for office consumption. for the day i ended at 1,498 calories...i stopped for 3 tacos on the way home and then polished them off with my last yogurt in the fridge. the tacos skewed my calorie mix: 30% fat (ick) / 52% carb / 17% protein for today.

not a complete disaster but not on plan either. it happens. also, i might have to switch back to my old standby met-rx shakes because the myoplex ones i bought just don't taste that good (although you can be sure when i'm throwing one back, i'm thinking happy thoughts). the other interesting point is that i can taste that shake for a couple hours afterwards. it just keeps on giving!

after i ate dinner tonight i passed out for about 3 hours so i guess my tank was running low. i then proceeded to do last night's lift (chest).

shoulders are on tap tomorrow. this is the process i go through as i work up to running. eat clean, lift, run.
