dust off fitday program.
buy fruit.
buy carrots.
buy yogurt.
buy something with fiber that doesn't require cooking it to eat it.
try a spinning class.
drink lots of water every day.
visit restroom 25x a day (see above).
clean out old clothes from closet and donate or throw away.
move to different apartment, different neighborhood.
earn money by doing something that does not consume me in such a negative way.
run like the wind.
do not think of it as "starting" and "stopping".
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."

  • Hey Brent,

I surfed on over from a comment you left on Mia's blog. I just wanted to respond to some of your previous posts regarding Chile -- I lived there for a few years as a child and I remember exactly what you described about their eating habits. Since then I've traveled in other countries, and doing so really brings home the realization that a lot of health and eating habits are culturally influenced.

I really like the philosophy you listed of not thinking about "starting" or "stopping", it's all just "now". Good luck on all your goals!
