about 3 mi on the treadmill. kind of hard getting back into the swing of things. i mean in july i hit 7 miles twice and now my HR hits 170 after 3 miles? huh? ah well whatever, i think i can get back into running shape pretty quickly. to be fair i was gradually increasing my speed (starting at 5.5, ended at 6.4) and took the incline to 1.0.
last night i worked hard at the full curcuit routine. in total its 20 sets (not including abs) that cover essentially every major muscle area. only 30 seconds of rest between each set, 10-12 reps per set. i can't imagine doing it twice but i think i will try it this week. i don't see myself bulking up from this routine because of the short rest and high reps, but its a good change and it gets the HR going.
